My name is Juan Cardenas and I am a Poet and Writer from the City of San Fernando, California.
The Beat of an Immigrant Chicano is a book of poetry and stories about the my journey crossing the Mexican/US border at the age of 10; the coming of age as an undocumented in the San Fernando Valley, and the epiphany of belonging.
